    Rosalia Rosalia Chamber of Commerce is looking for pictures of past Battle Days celebrations in town. They plan to use the pictures to display in a Battle Days collage. Copies of pictures can be mailed to the chamber at Box 132 in Rosalia. Contributors are asked to identify the people in the pictures and attempt to pinpoint the year of the celebration.   • Dollars for Scholars event earns $3,000 for Rosalia students

    Rosalia The annual Rosalia Dollars for Scholars crab feed and silent auction earned approximately $3,000 for the scholarship fund which supports Rosalia graduates who pursue education beyond high school. Approximately 130 attended the Friday event in the old gym at the school. Rosalia Gifted Grannys and Lions Clubs and several businesses donated items for the sale and made donations.     Rosalia Rosalia Fire Department responded to two fires Sunday and managed to douse the blazes in time to halt extensive damage. An early morning fire damaged the front of the Brass Rail Tavern. Chief Bill Tensfeld said the driver of a Spokesman Review delivery truck noticed smoke in front of the tavern when he made a delivery at about 3 a.m. and called 911.     Rosalia Veterans events set at Rosalia Veteran’s Day assemblies are planned for this morning, Thursday, at Rosalia school and for Friday at the Veteran’s Memorial behind the town’s historic Texaco station.   • Rosalia - Wolf-Fetzner reunion brings 53 cousins from four states

    Rosalia Matt and Jen Eberle and family hosted the Wolf-Fetzner family reunion on Fairbanks Road July 23. There were 53 people in attendance. The cousins came from Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Illinois. They are descendants of Leopold and Amalia Wolf who settled about three miles southwest of Latah in 1904, and Charlie and Minnie Fetzner who settled in the Konah area east of Rosalia in 1905.     Rosalia There was a great turnout for the Battle Days celebration in Rosalia last weekend and they would like to thank all those who participated. It was beautiful weather and a great turn out.
