    Drake Hinkins, a 2010 graduate of Oakesdale High School, has been awarded a $1,000 Gina Meyers Scholarship by the Washington State University honors college. Students receiving this award must be enrolled in the Honors College and have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.     Bill and Juanita Kinzer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a no-gift open house hosted by their children June 25 on the farm outside of Uniontown starting at 3 p.m. Kinzer and Juanita Busch were married June 24, 1961, at St. Gall’s Catholic Church in Colton.     Holy Trinity Chapel in Palouse is going to host its third Home and Garden Tour on June 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Five unique homes and gardens will be featured with three in town and two in the country. They voted to donate $500 to the Junior Rodeo Association and $1,500 to underwrite swim pool admission tickets.
