Dusty

Kim and Cindy Pitts recently spent about a week in Phoenix with their daughter Carrie. On the way home, they spent one night in Boise with grandchildren Kellen, Becket and Willa and their parents, Jen and Ryan Hammond. Sunday visitors at their home were their other grandchildren, Rafe and Tate, and parents Amanda and Erik Carlson of Spokane.

David and Phyllis Stueckle attended the wedding of their nephew, Matthew, son of Arne and Diane Stueckle of Spokane, in Seattle Saturday. From Seattle they spent four days in Leavenworth with his brother and sister-in-law, Reuben and Judy Stueckle of Puyallup. They returned home Thursday.

Goldie and Al Foss have sold their house in Everett and have temporarily moved in with her sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Norm Erickson. Tentative plans are to relocate to Colfax.

Kathleen Scholz, 101, is temporarily residing at the Whitman Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Colfax. She fell two weeks ago and had a hip break. She will be recovering at the rehab center until mid-July. Her daughter Kathy Atwood, Westwood, Calif., came to be with her mother and is staying with her son Kevin at the family home. Kathleen would appreciate cards and visits.

Last Sunday, Helen Appel’s family came to the family farm to help her celebrate her birthday. Monday, Jessica and Deb Stavig arrived to spend a few days. Jessica had a test to take at the University of Idaho where she is a senior.

Joanne Appel Gerkin spent the weekend with her mother Joyce Appel. Sunday, they attended a get-together of Joyce’s side of the family at the home of John and Patty Appel in Pomeroy.
