Nelson among honorees for Girl Scout projects

Rebecca Nelson, a 2010 graduate of Garfield/ Palouse High School, wa among those honored at a reception for recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award hosted by Governor Christine Gregoire at the Governors’ Mansion in Olympia June 7.

Rebecca’s project, Music and Movement, addressed the need to provide for youth activities other than sports within her community.
