WSU extension taps Neibers for RM post

Shannon Neibergs of Palouse has been named director of the WSU Extension Western Center for Risk Management starting July 5. He succeeds Jon Newkirk who has directed the center for the past 10 years.

Neibergs is a WSU associate professor and extension economist at WSU. He had conducted research and published widely on dairy farming, cattle management and marketing and agribusiness profitability and other topics.
