    St. John/Endicott Boy Scout Troop 590 spent the morning of Nov. 11 collecting food around St. John for the 2017 Scouting for Food drive.     Endicott Endicott Community Club met Nov.7 at Trinity Lutheran Church. They discussed the German Dinner and decided to make a few changes and were very pleased with the turn out. The group will begin Christmas decorating right after Thanksgiving. The middle school students will help with the decorations. Carol Larson is heading up the project.     Lacrosse Mike Stine, Drew Parks and Norma Gibson competed on the Whitman County Cougars Special Olympic bowling team at Lilac Lanes in Spokane on Sunday, Nov. 5. Norma received a silver medal; Mike received a gold medal and Drew received a fourth place ribbon. Each were in separate divisions. Tom Cauley volunteered to drive Mike and Drew to the tournament.     Carmen Swannack from Lamont, was named State Alternate Senior Winner at the State Make It With Wool competition Oct. 28 in Pullman. The competition was in conjunction with the annual convention of the Washington State Sheep Producers Association.     Leo and Terri Haas will end their time operating the Boyer Park Marina Dec. 27 after four years. They gave a 90-day notice in September after choosing not to sign a new contract which would have paid less money than the previous deal. “It was no longer feasible to do business,” said Terri Haas.     Dusty Dusty B.B. Club met last Wednesday at the Catholic Church annex in LaCrosse and completed 14 receiving blankets for the free maternity clinic at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.
