    Colfax baseball team remained undefeated with two more power wins Tuesday against the Wilbur-Creston Wildcats at Wilbur. The Bulldogs posted wins of 17-5 in the first game and 15-3 in the closer. Danny Robinson allowed the Wildcats eight hits in the first game, while the Bulldogs rolled out 15 hits with 10 runs scored in the fourth and fifth innings to shut the game down on on the 10 run margin rule.     LaCrosse/Washtucna/Kahlotus girls rolled up 31 points to finish April 13 in a District 9 track meet at College Place. Asotin again stacked up wins to take both sides with the Panther girls topping the charts at 122 points and the boys winning at 114. St. John/Endicott boys finished with 28 points for a fifth place finish. Top finisher for the Eagles was a one-two in the high jump with Cooper Lundberg clearing 5-6 and Griffin Parrish clearing 5-4.     It was a first in eight years on Tuesday afternoon in Colton. The Wildcats softball team met Genesee for an annual non-league game and lost 10-3. “I don't know what to think, I'm not used to losing,” said Colton coach Brad Nilson. Genesee led the entire game, up 10-0 in the fifth inning. Colton had just two hits in the game, both from Daylinn Smith.     Colfax senior Scout Cai clears the bar on the way to a second-place finish in pole vault at the giant Pasco Invitational Saturday and Edgar Brown Stadium. Cai cleared 11-6 in the vault.     Colfax golfers rolled up another win Tuesday in 80-85 degree temperatures at Colville's Old Dominion course. Coach Steve Jones noted the top three finishers for the Bulldogs marked best day performances for the 18 holes on the par 72 course. Sophomore Chance Weitze led the field with a one-over 73. Weitze had control problems on the first 12 holes but finished with birdies on 13, 14 and 15 to wrap up the finish.     The fourth St. Baldrick's event was held at Colfax High School April 13 to benefit childhood cancer research. A total of 54 people had their heads shaved, or, at least six inches cut for females. Participants earn money for the cause through pledges, for which the deadline is April 28 this year. Total raised so far is $10,503. Last year, the Colfax event raised $11,599.     Whitman County has received funding for two road projects from the state's County Road Administration Board. Mark Storey, Whitman County's Public Works Director and a member of the CRAB board, told county commissioners Monday the money will go for an overlay on Farmington Road and Phase III of the reconstruction of Almota Road. “These projects are still out there a ways, but you've got to secure the money first,” said Storey.
