Duane Colvin

Duane was born on December 2, 1934, and was raised in Colfax, Washington.

As a young man, he traveled and saw the world while serving his country in the US Navy. He often talked about his time on the aircraft carrier and the things he had seen, all which gave him an even greater appreciation for America.

Upon his return from serving, he earned his degree from Eastern Washington University, and became a CPA. He practiced his profession primarily in Spokane with a local firm, and ultimately opened his own practice late in his life. He and his clients had a mutual loyalty; his very first client was also one of his last clients.

Duane is the proud father of Teresa (husband John, daughter Nicole), Jim (wife Julie, daughters Caitlin and Molly) and Curtis (wife Pam, daughter Amber and son Ryan). He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Colvin. Duane is survived by former spouse, Arlene Maike.

Duane loved the northwest, Spokane and the Palouse in particular, and was proud to be an American Veteran.
