Audrey Carol Benner

Audrey Carol Benner of Kent, Wash., went home early Saturday morning, January 23. She was 90 years young.

She was born in Endicott, Wash., on May 8, 1930, where she lived until her junior year of high school. She then moved to Spokane where she resided until 1965 when she moved to Kent, Wash., where she remained until her death. She made several visits over the years to Spokane and Endicott to visit family and friends. She was a member of Panther Lake Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Carlson; her cousin and best friend, Robert Smick of Spokane; several cousins in the eastern Washington/Idaho area; her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Doug Anderson of Kent; her son, Michael Carlson of Seattle; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Alicia DeJoie of Seattle; her granddaughter and husband, Nicole and Stephon Daniels of Enumclaw; her granddaughter and husband, Amber and John Boire of Covington; and her two great-granddaughters, Camdyn Joy Boire and Shelby Mae Daniels, both four months old, whom she met and held. A very happy time for all!

She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She blesses us all with a Legacy of Faith, Family, Love, Laughter, and Joy.
