E. PAULENE FOSS

E. Paulene Foss, 86, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Avalon Care Center in Pullman.

She was born on May 8, 1929, in Kamiah, Idaho, to Lloyd W. and Nora Hollingsworth Lyon.

She had been residing for three months at a time with each of her three children.

She loved to crochet and had recently completed making tablecloths for all her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Bruce Morrison (Dagmar), Lacey; two daughters, Sharon Gamet (Richard), Palouse, and Ronda Sliter (Bob), Pomeroy; step-children Bob Foss, Don Foss, Patty Foss and Nancy Foss, Rockefeller. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death two sons, Steven Morrison and Paul Lyyski and her husband Joe Foss, who died 27 years to the day before her death.

In accordance with her request, a formal funeral service will not be conducted. A small gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Kramer Funeral Home of Palouse is in charge of arrangements.
