Stanley K. Denison

A memorial service for Stanley K. Denison will be Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Potlatch with the Revs. Larry Veith and Kathy Kramer officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow at the Potlatch City Cemetery. Kramer Funeral Home of Tekoa, Washington is handling the arrangements.

Dolores N. Reynolds

A graveside inurnment service for Dolores N. Reynolds, 76, was Wednesday, June 3, at the Mendenhall Cemetery with the Rev. Kathy Kramer officiating. Mrs. Reynolds died late Thursday evening May 28, 2015, at her rural Princeton home.

Born Aug. 9, 1938, at Sanders, Idaho, to George and Minerva (Yourkin) Derry, she attended school at Emida, Idaho, and married Norman Reynolds Oct. 17, 1955, at Coeur d’Alene. They made their home at Princeton. Dolores was a homemaker all her life and Norman worked for PFI as a welder. Mr. Reynolds died in 2009.

Dolores enjoyed reading, crocheting, glass etching, embroidery and fishing.

Survivors include, one brother, Lawrence Derry, St. Maries, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Christine Griswold, Potlatch; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Filo Reynolds, and a daughter, Marie Reynolds.

A military graveside service for Harold F. Sprague, 89, was Monday, June 1 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Palouse with Potlatch V.F.W. and a Marine Honor Guard participating. Mr. Sprague died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Pullman Regional Hospital.

Harold F. Sprague

Born Jan. 12, 1926, at Kelliher, Minn., to Jerome and Inez (Graham) Sprague, he attended schools at Saum, Minn., and Kelliher High School. Harold also attended an Electrician School in Detroit.

He served in the Pacific Theater during WWII with the Marine Corps and was wounded in action at Okinawa, Ryukyu Island.

He married Beatrice Falk June 25, 1948, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple moved to many areas when he worked as an electrician and moved to job sites. They moved to Palouse in 1968 and made it their home ever since.

Harold also worked at Washington State University and on the Snake River dams. Mrs. Sprague died in Jan. 1999.

Harold was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Electricians' Union. Harold loved to fish and hunt.

Survivors include his companion of 15 years, Iris Holway Price, Palouse; one daughter, Janice Goodwin (Steve) Seattle; two sisters, Verona Schuiling, Grand Rapids, Minn., Audrey Brodd, Mesa, Ariz .; two brothers, Chester Sprague, Iowa; Merle Sprague, Big Lake, Minn., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Doug Sprague.
