Kelma J. Tribble

A graveside service for Kelma J. Tribble, 87, was Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the Potlatch Cemetery. A potluck luncheon followed at the Palouse River Community Center at Princeton, Idaho. She died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at the Clarkston Care Center.

Born June 21, 1925, at Gifford, Idaho, to G. Roy and Georgia (Howell) Ewing, she attended schools at Gifford, Idaho, and then graduated from Lewiston High School in 1944.

She married Rex D. Tribble July 28, 1945, at Lewiston and the couple made their home at Potlatch, Idaho, until 1952 when they moved to Klamath, Calif., where her husband worked as a bulldozer operator in the Redwood forests. The couple moved back to Princeton in 1983. Mr. Tribble died in 2005.

Kelma moved to Clarkston in 2009 where she had made her home since. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and her family.

Survivors include one brother, James R. Ewing, Keuterville, Idaho; two sisters, Marcia Pea, and Charlene Spooner, both of Clarkston; two granddaughters, five great-grandsons, and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and David Tribble.
