    Endicott, CARLA ROOT, Gazette Correspondent Friday, the ESJ Leadership class organized a ceremony to honor those fallen during the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. The Billy Ray family took a short vacation over Labor Day weekend to Silver Mountain and Spokane.     Jason Swannack of Lamont graduated from the Washington Aerospace Scholars Program at Museum of Flight in Seattle. Flack and Susie Snow were married at the Presbyterian Church in Moscow Sept. 14, 1959.     Oakesdale art students hold a basket of bookmarks in front of the library. The students put together over 100 colorful markers to be given out free to library patrons. Oakesdale students have been snipping, gluing, tying, beading, dotting, and coloring since the first day of school to create over 100 original bookmarks for the Oakesdale library. “They’ll be hard to lose,” said Oakesdale librarian Michele Wright of the thick, elaborate bookmarks.     Gov. Chris Gregoire Tuesday announced Whitman County had been awarded funding that was dedicated to the county by state law. The county was one of seven entities that were all but guaranteed funding from an earmark in a bill that authorized funding for communities to spur private construction projects.
