Ed Schluneger, longtime Onecho area farmer and rancher, died at his Colfax home on June 24, 2023. He was 87. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 8th, with a graveside service at the Onecho Cemetery at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at the Onecho Bible Church at 11 a.m. Viewing for Ed will be on Friday, July 7th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Corbeill Funeral Home in Colfax. Sharon Miller, 77, of LaCrosse, Wash., passed away on June 20, 2023, in Colfax. Sharon was born November 10, 1945, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to Grace Thelma Crockett. Russ Foreyt, 36, a lifelong Colfax, Wash., native, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly June 22, 2023, leaving this world and those who knew and loved him, much too soon. Clara M. Moore, 101, of LaCrosse, Wash., passed away June 15, 2023, at Whitman Health and Rehab in Colfax, Wash. Clara was born January 5, 1922, in Pasco, Wash. She grew up in Kahlotus, Wash., and was the oldest of four girls. Following high school Clara married James D. Moore on July 28, 1940, and the made the family farm their home. Together with her parents they operated the farm in Kahlotus for a time until moving to Hay, Wash., where she operated the farm, had many animals, and raised their family.
