    The eaglets have hit another milestone and are now moving into the tree's branches. Those cute little fluff balls are now rowdy and ornery raptors that protect their food vigorously.     Palouse Watershed Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) plans a tour Monday, July 10, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In the first two years of the RCPP program, landowners and operators have received cost-share funding to implement 22,314 acres of conservation tillage, 150 acres of filter strips, field borders or riparian buffers; 12,460 acres of precision nutrient management, and 42 acres of conservation easements.     Collett exhibit A exhibit of realist works by Oregon artist Sam Collett will be on display at Dahmen Barn July 2-30.     Right, Rob Smith, Dan Griffis, and Bob Lothspeich were on the grill for the Rotary pancake feed which served approximately 250 people at the fly-in. Saturday morning's fly-in at the Colfax airport brought an estimated 45 to 50 airplanes from all over the area, according to organizer Barney Buckley.     Amazing bike ride As part of the Slippery Gulch Celebration, there was a bike ride that left Tekoa and traversed the John Wayne Trail east to the Idaho border. Thanks to a collaboration between the members of the Tekoa Trail and Trestle Association, the Friends of the John Wayne Trail and local farmers, the trail is being expanded past the Washington border to hopefully connect with the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes in Plummer.
