    COLTON -The Colton varsity softball team won a home conference game against DeSales on Thursday, March 30. The Wildcats won 11-10 in a tight game. Colton totaled eight hits and picked up only two errors. DeSales gained traction in the first inning after scoring two runs. Colton picked up four runs in the second inning.     COLFAX – The Varsity Bulldogs lost their first game this season against Warden on Tuesday, April 4. The team fell behind early in the game and could not come back in a 19-0 loss to Warden. Warden scored on a fielder’s choice by Liza Leinweber and a single by Emma Cox in the first inning. The Colfax Bulldogs struggled to keep the high-powered offense of Warden and allowed for 19 runs.     ST JOHN — Coed Golf hosted its first 9-hole golf match Friday, March 31. The coed team faced Pullman, Tekoa/Rosalia, and Yakima Nation. The top girls’ scores from the match were first place, McKenzie Stanley, St.John/Endicott/LaCrosse, with a score of 48.
