Local Easter Egg hunts

COLFAX — With Easter approaching this weekend, several towns in Whitman County will host Easter Egg hunts.

Friends of the Parks will host their fourth annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 8, at Schmuck Park in Colfax at 10:30 a.m. for age groups four and under, four to seven, and eight to ten.

The Colfax Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia will host its first annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 8, at 1150 West Fairview Street in Colfax.

Attendees should arrive at 1 p.m., and the Egg hunt will start at 1:30 p.m. for children ages 16 and under.

There will be photos with the Easter bunny and a special prize for those who find a golden egg.

The Lions Club in Rosalia will host an Egg hunt Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. in the Rosalia City Park, located at the corner of West 9th Street and Park Avenue.

Breakfast will be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the Egg hunt at the Rosalia Community Church, West 3rd Street.

Proceeds will support the Rosalia 4-H club.

Pine Creek Community Restoration of Malden will host a hunt in Malden Community Park for all ages Saturday, April 8, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be a BBQ, fun, and prizes.

The LaCrosse Community Club hosts its Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at 10 a.m. at the LaCrosse City Park for third graders and under.

The Trinity Lutheran Church in Endicott will host a hunt Saturday at 10 a.m. for children up to third grade.

The Rosalia Lions Club will be hosting a community breakfast at the Rosalia CommUnity Church on Saturday April 8th from 9-11 AM. It is by donation and proceeds will benefit the Rosalia 4-H club who will be serving and providing clean up at the event. There are 30 kids in the active, local 4-H club.

When the breakfast ends at 11 AM, the Rosalia Lions Club and the Rosalia Park will be hosting an Easter egg hunt at the city park.
