Viking girls took 1st place, scoring 124.5 team points
PALOUSE — The first district nine 1B track meet of the 2024 season ended with the Garfield-Palouse Vikings girls taking first, and the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Eagles boys team taking second.
The meet was held on Wednesday, March 27, in Pomeroy.
The Vikings, Eagles, Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves, and Oakesdale Nighthawks all sent their boys and girls teams to compete in the meet.
At the conclusion of the meet, the Vikings girls scored 124.5 team points, finishing in first place.
The Nighthawk girls took second with 90.5 team points.
