COLFAX — Schmuck Park, in Colfax, is the setting for a Whitman County sports clinic, starting at 9 a.m., and going until 1 p.m.

This event encourages local athletes to head to the park for a sports physical, vision screenings, growth checks, and head-to-toe checkups.

Those interested can also learn about food resources and programs by heading to the park during the event.

There will be no out-of-pocket cost for the event, and no cost in general to participate in the event, whether you have health insurance or not. If you have an insurance card, be sure to bring it.
