The game against the Panthers was played on Wednesday, May 8, in Spokane.

In the game, Asotin would strike first, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Colfax would respond with two runs in the top of the sixth inning to tie the game at two, however, the Panthers scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth to end the Bulldogs season.

Senior pitcher JP Wigen pitched all six innings for the Bulldogs. He allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits with five walks. Wigen would also strikeout five batters in the game.

Colfax did not produce a defensive error in the game, where as the Panthers had one.

With the loss, the Bulldogs see their season end short of the state playoffs for the second year in a row. Colfax had a 14-7 overall record this season, and had highs throughout the season that can be used as motivation to make a run for the state tournament in the 2024-25 season.
