St. John/Endicott junior ties for 8th at state golf tournament

ST.JOHN - St. John/Endicott junior McKenzie Stanley tied for 8th place at the Washington State 1B/2B High School Girls State tournament at Tumwater Valley Golf Club on May 23 and 24.
Forty girls started the tournament on May 23, with 20 advancing to the finals on day two and nine getting medals.
Stanley competed against 19 other girls, with her round one score at 93, advancing into round two to make a score of 98 and coming out to a total of 191.
Maddie Hass, from Tekoa-Rosalia, also placed in the 1B/2B girl's state tournament in 7th place, with a total round score of 189.
