Colfax softball finishes strong against NWC

COLFAX –– A late score in a close softball game against Northwest Christian (NWC) cost the Colfax Softball Varsity team the win.

The Bulldogs lost 9-6 in their first game against NWC when Lauren Heinrich singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Despite the loss in the first game, the Bulldogs did collect 11 hits in the game.

Katy Coriell was on the rubber for NWC. She surrendered six runs on 11 hits over seven innings, striking out four.
