Oakesdale blows out St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse in 1B Southeast game

OAKESDALE – The Oakesdale Nighthawks opened with a 30-2 first quarter enroute to a dominant 72-17 win over the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Eagles on Jan. 28.

Oakesdale held St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse scoreless for the majority of the first quarter. Olivia Danielson scored a bucket with 30 seconds left in the frame to end the shutout at 28-2. The Nighthawks put up one more bucket in the remaining seconds of the opening quarter to go into the second frame up 30-2.

The second quarter didn't fare much better for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse and Oakesdale went into halftime up 49-10.
