Colfax girls go 2-0 in Eagle Holiday Classic

SPOKANE VALLEY — Colfax came into the Eagle Holiday Classic at West Valley High School on Dec. 28 with an 8-0 record and was ranked first amongst Washington 2B girls basketball teams in many state polls.

The Lady Bulldogs continued to show why they’re one of the better teams in the state, beating Ephrata High School on Dec. 28 by a score of 55-23 and Bonners Ferry on Dec. 29 by a score of 59-35.

Colfax’s defense was on display in the opening half against Ephrata, with the Bulldogs putting up 16 points in the first quarter compared to the Tigers’ five.
