Viking girls split with Knights, Wildcats

SUNNYSIDE — The Garfield-Palouse (6-7 overall, 3-5 league) girls fastpitch softball team split with Sunnyside Christian duringa doubleheader April 21.
The Vikings won the opener 19-12, then lost the nightcap 13-12 to the Knights (3-8 overall, 2-6 league).
Individual results were not reported.
After splitting with the Knights, the Vikings girls split with Colton (9-4 overall, 4-2 league) on April 25.
The Vikings lost the opener to the Wildcats, 8-5, but won the closer, 19-13.
The following day, April 26, Garfield-Palouse dropped one game, 16-4 , to Potlatch, Idaho.
