Colfax girls first, boys second at Liberty track meet

SPANGLE – The Colfax girls were top dog at the NE2B league track meet Tuesday, April 19, at Liberty High School.

The local girls finished first as a team with 91 points.

The Bulldogs led the pack with the Kettle Falls Bulldogs second with 70 team points, Liberty third with 65, Jenkins (Chewelah) fourth with 58 and Asotin fifth with 36.

The Bulldog boys finished almost as strong, taking second place with 105.5 team points.

The Jenkins Cougars won the boys team title with 108 points and the Liberty Lancers were third with 62.5.

Rounding out the Top 5 teams were Asotin with 39 and Kettle Fal...
