Pullman boys open baseball season with pair of losses

CHELAN — The Pullman Greyhounds boys baseball team opened the 2022 season with a pair of losses to the Chelan Goats.
Chelan (2-0), a smaller Class 1A team, swept the Greyhounds (0-2) in a doubleheader Saturday, March 19.
Chelan took the opener, 8-2.
The Goats Braedon Boys set the pace by striking out nine Pullman batters in just over 4 innings.
In the nightcap, Chelan dominated Pullman, 15-4, for the win.
Noah Loew had 3 RBIs, 2 doubles and a triple in the win.
Brady Coulter led the Greyhounds with a pair of RBIs for Pullman.
