Timberwolves upset Entiat Tigers

TEKOA - The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves boys football team notched their first win of the season by upsetting the Entiat Tigers, 38-34, on Sept. 18.
Entiat (1-1) were riding a Sept. 3, 58-44 win over St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse (SJEL) into the game. And the favored Tigers held the lead of the game by capitalizing on 2-point conversions when the Timberwolves couldn't.
But a late-game sack gave the Timberwolves the ball back with enough time to put one more touchdown on the board to win the game.
Entiat travels to Pateros (0-2) on Thursday.
