Timberwolves fall to Reardan

ROSALIA - Reardan's girl volleyball team swept the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves during a non-league matchup on Sept. 16.

Reardan's varsity team won (25-13, 25-14, 25-12).

"We are young, with only two returning varsity players and two freshman starters," said Coach Brian Reid. "But we showed really good improvement and teamwork over the games."

Delani Lehn and Emily Kramer are the senior players. Kramer is returning after not playing for a while, Reid said. Keely Fournier and Libby Lehn, Delani Lehn' sister, are freshmen on the team.

"Will progress nicely I think," said Reid.

Reardan is a class 2B team. Tekoa-Rosalia is class 1B.

On Sept. 15 the Timberwolves lost to Wilbur-Creston (25 - 10, 25-12, 25-23).

The Timberwolves (0-2) are scheduled to play Cusick (1-1). The Panthers are coming off a Sept. 16 victory over the Wellpinit Redskins.
