PALOUSE – The Garfield-Palouse Vikings grabbed the Prescott Tigers by the tail to win three volleyball games on Sept. 7.

In their first games of the season, the Vikings won 25-17, 25-18, and 25-12, according to Coach Brad Radner.

"(It was a) good first game," he said. "Girls played and communicated well (and) worked as a team."

Garfield-Palouse was led by Maci Brantner in kills with 11, 5 aces, and a block.

Denni Fealy has 20 assists.

Kenzi Pedersen had 5 digs.

The non-league match starts the Vikings at 1-0.
