Eagles ran the Valley Christian Jamboree

SPOKANE VALLEY – The St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse (SJEL) Eagles cross country team would have taken third, but the jamboree was a practice.
Six Eagles ran the 3,350-meter course on Sept. 9 and they scored 69 points. Davenport and Valley Christian scored lower for the top two positions.
Cross country scores are the place each runner comes in and they are added together. The lower the individual's place, the better the team score.
"We'll get better as the season goes on," said Eagle Coach Mike Mahoney. "They don't have their running legs yet."
