Tekoa-Rosalia splits games with Touchet

Senior Elise Wilkins helped her team, Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves, bounce back to win the second game.

ROSALIA – Tekoa-Rosalia softball pitcher Elise Wilkins stole third and home for the winning run in the second game against Touchet Indians on April 17.

The Timberwolves won their second game of the doubleheader 12-11 in 11 innings after losing the first game 9-4. Tekoa-Rosalia softball is now 2-6.

"The girls started off slow and they had to work together," said Tekoa-Rosalia Assistant Coach Bailee Nickelson. "They had to fight back more and worked together really well."

The Vikings hustled running bases and moving forward, but their efforts fell short.
