Colfax volleyball unbeaten

COLFAX - The Colfax High School volleyball team is 5-0 after two more wins.

The Bulldogs beat Northwest Christian on March 2 (25-12, 25-15, 25-17) as Anni Cox had 12 aces and eight digs. Justice Brown added 13 assists.

On March 3, playing at home against Upper Columbia Academy the Bulldogs won in four (25-16, 25-16, 17-25, 25-12). Brown posted 21 assists. Cox contributed nine aces and seven digs, and Perry Imler added 10 kills.

"We're still playing well. Again, just happy to be in the gym," said Colfax Coach Brandy Brown.

Earlier, Colfax swept Kettle Falls (25-4, 25-15, 25-11) as Brown had 14 assists and three aces. Cox delivered 13 digs and Sophie Klaveano and Perry Imler both had seven kills. Sidney Berquist added three aces.

Against Asotin previously, Colfax won (25-17, 25-12, 25-11). Asher Cai totaled 13 kills while Brown had 14 assists and Cox 16 digs. Abree Aune served five aces.

The team was set to play next at St. George's followed by a match at Asotin Saturday.
