Jacob Brown heads for another open hole last Friday, looking for one of his five touchdowns.

COLFAX — Bulldog Jacob Brown followed running 26 yards in the Liberty game to carry the ball 167 yards for five touchdowns in a 44-0 win over Asotin.

Brown is a 6-foot, 220-pound senior fullback.

"Our kids played really well, and Asotin was really down," said Colfax Coach Mike Morgan. "They just didn't have the horsepower to go against us."

The March 5 game included two Colfax onside kicks for two quick touchdowns.

A long, opening pass from quarterback Layne Gingerich to Gavin Shrope set up the first touchdown with Brown taking the ball out wide for the end zone.
