Colfax net jamboree scratched Saturday

The three-match volleyball jamboree at Colfax was called off Saturday because of a construction derailment. Athletic Director Gina Hopkins reported they had to cancel after learning the rest rooms were not hooked up to function for the event.

Garfield/Palouse and St. John/Endicott/LaCrosse teams had been scheduled to play here.

Coach Brandy Brown and the Bulldogs will now start the season with a league match Thursday at Asotin.

Home opener for the Bulldogs will now be Sept. 26 with the LRS Broncs booked to be here for a league match. Colfax will play at Liberty Sept. 17 and at the tournament in Okanogan Sept. 21.
