Malden – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Junior Night – Children in grades 2 to 5 can hang with friends and do a fun activity.
Colfax – 6 to 8 p.m. – Happy Hour Yoga – Join us for yoga and refreshments. Class is $10 and proceeds benefit FBLA.
Rosalia – 6:30 p.m. – Kids’ Drive-in Movie – Popcorn and cars provided. Don’t forget your pillow and blanket.

Malden – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – Support and resources for those caring for loved ones.
St. John – 1 p.m. – Writer’s Working Group – Share your written work in a safe, positive place. All skill levels.
Colfax and Endicott – Free Dancing Dog Show – It’s time for some tail waggin’ fun sure to bring smiles to all ages.
LaCrosse – 6 to 8 p.m. – Adult Paint Night – All skill levels are welcome. $10 class fee, RSVP to 549-3770.
Saturday, May 4
Colfax – Win a Free Book. – Follow the library on social media and pick out a free book from the book sale in May.
Rosalia – 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. – Book Sale – It’s Rosalia's annual Community Yard Sale and the library is joining in the fun with a Used Book Sale. All proceeds go to the Summer Reading program. Prices are low, nothing is more than a dollar.
Monday, May 6
Colfax – Seed Library Open House – Visit the Seed Library any time during the month of May. The library is open seven days a week, so stop by to take a look, pick up free seeds, or get your questions answered.
St. John – 2 p.m. – Plants of the Wild – Get fresh gardening ideas, learn about native roots and more.
Colfax – 2 to 3 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – Support and resources for those caring for loved ones.
Garfield – 5:30 p.m. – Family Book Club – Share the love of reading with your children. Come for a talk and activity at the library.
LaCrosse – 7 p.m. – Canyons and Coulees and Valleys ... Oh My. – Free Ice Age Floods presentation.

Colfax – 11 a.m. – Friends of the Library Meeting – See what being a friend is all about. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Malden – 11 a.m. – Garden Club – Start seedlings, learn new techniques, and share gardening tips.
Tekoa – 4 to 6 p.m. – Workshop Week – Learn how to request library books or download ebooks and audiobooks from the convenience of your own home.
Oakesdale – 6 p.m. – Whitman Co. Heritage – Share stories and browse the display of historical area photos.
St. John – 6:30 p.m. – Adult and Teen Paint Night – Bring a friend to enjoy a fun evening. $8 class fee, RSVP to 648-3319.
Wednesday, May 8
Colfax and Malden – Adult Exercise – Enjoy a fun, free, full-body workout.
Colfax – 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Virtual Reality – Adults and teens 13 and older, call 397-4366 to sign up for an amazing virtual experience climbing Mt. Everest, exploring the Space Station and more.
