NWC, Asotin take NE team wins at Colfax

Carmen Gfeller hands off to Piper Cai for Colfax in the last lap in the girls 4 X 400 relay Tuesday at the NE meet.

Northwest Christian boys rolled up 237 points, and the Asotin girls stacked 329 Tuesday when the 12 NE league teams converged in the Colfax track from the district meet.

Colfax boys placed third with 184 points, and Tekoa/Rosalia placed ninth with 57.5.

Colfax was led by senior Ben Ahmann who took both hurdle races. Carson Cloaninger took a win in the pole vault by clearing 11 feet.

Colfax girls placed second to Asotin with 201 points.
