Coaches nominate Gransbery, Knauff

Coaches Dennis Gransbery of Colfax and Cliff Knauff of Garfield/Palouse were nominated at Saturday’s regional tournament in Reardan to compete for B division state coach of the year honors at this week’s state Mat Classic in Tacoma. They headed one of 17 teams which competed at Reardan Saturday.

Gransbery is now in his eighth season of coaching the Colfax grapplers. He coached at Pullman for nine years before heading the Bulldogs.
