Sunnyside Christian 78, Garfield/Palouse 42

Sunnyside Christian (10-0, 4-0) took control early and took the Southeast 1B league championship with a 78-42 win at Palouse Nov. 3. The game pitted the two top teams in the league in a showdown in the final regular season game to decide the title.

The decision came down early as the Knights scored 40 points in the first quarter to Gar/Pal’s 12.

The Vikings finished the regular season at 6-2, 3-1.

Colton 34,

Touchet 16

Colton trailed 16-0 early as Touchet built off a fumble return, a safety and a touchdown run at home Nov. 3. The Wildcats (7-3, 2-2) then cut it to 16-14 before halftime. A 15-yard touchdown throw from Parker Druffel to Reece Chadwick put Colton ahead in the third quarter.

Chadwick led the team with nine rushes for 50 yards and four receptions for 70. He had three interceptions on defense. Cameron Bean caught four passes for 46 yards.

Druffel ran the ball 20 times for 161 yards.
