Obituaries: Aug. 3, 2017

A memorial service for Frances W. Blank, 79, long-time resident of Rosalia, was Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. in the Rosalia United Methodist Church. Burial was at the Rosalia IOOF Evergreen Cemetery prior to the service.Mrs. Blank died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Touchmark in Spokane.

Born Sept 14, 1937, in Walla Walla to Fred and Louise Breese, she graduated from Tekoa High School with the class of 1956 and was employed for five years with General Telephone. She and Bob Blank were married Oct. 24, 1960, in Spokane. They resided at Tekoa for a year and then moved to Rosalia where they resided since. She was active in Rainbow Girls and Order of Eastern Star and was a fan of the Mariners, Seahawks and Gonzaga basketball.

Surviving are her husband, Bob, sons Brad of Colfax and Carl of Rosalia, four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Rosalia United Methodist Church or the Rosalia IOOF Cemetery.

Robert N. Hadaller, longtime resident in the Princeton, Idaho, area, died July 20, 2017, at Pullman Regional Hospital. In accordance with his request, a formal service will not be conducted.

Born in Chehalis Dec. 30, 1937, to L.P. and Gertrude Kirpes Hadaller, he spent his early years in the Chehalis/Harmony area before his family moved to Colton, then to Palouse and finally to Potlatch where Bob attended school through the eighth grade. He was drafted by the United States Army in 1956 and served in Germany. He was discharged from active duty in 1958 and continued serving in the Army Reserves.

He and Phyllis Hudson were married Dec. 19, 1959, and they made their home in Princeton and later moved to the family homestead on Morris Road near Princeton in 1965. He worked at the Potlatch Corp. mills in Potlatch and in Lewiston after the Potlatch mill closed. He retired after 30 years and then worked as a custodian at the University of Idaho until 1995.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis, Princeton; son Mark (Melissa) Hadaller, Princeton; daughter Betty Walser, Potlatch; brother Dave Hadaller, Hawaii; sister Marjorie Turner, Selah; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Potlatch Ambulance Fund, Box 63, Potlatch, ID 83855 or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Mary Margaret (Margo) Durham Peebles, 68, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died Monday, July 31, 2017.

She was born Oct, 22, 1948, in Colfax to Donald and Hazel Sorensen Durham.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at the Community United Methodist Church, 1470 W. Hanley Ave., in Coeur d’Alene. A full obituary will appear at a later date.
