Thursday, Jan. 26

Tekoa – 8:30 a.m. – Attentive Parenting Workshop Series - Parenting classes are typically available Thursday mornings, now through March 2. Completers of the class will receive a $20 incentive.

Rosalia – 4 to 5 p.m. – Ozobots STEM Program - What is an Ozobot? Ozobots are tiny line following robots programmed by color. Kids grades 5 and up are invited to come explore robotics and learn to create code with this fun STEM program.

Friday, Jan. 27

Oakesdale – 5 p.m. – BINGO and Pie - Enjoy a fun evening with friends and family eating pie, playing BINGO and winning. All ages welcome.

Garfield – 6 p.m. – Adult Coloring - Did you know that coloring promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and can help improve your overall mood? That’s right, coloring isn’t just for kids anymore. Drop in and enjoy cookies, coloring and conversation.

Saturday, Jan. 28

Tekoa – 5 to 7 p.m. – Pajama and Popcorn Family Game Night - Families and kids of all ages are welcome to come play one of the dozens of board games available, from Candyland to Twister, and have tons of fun with family and friends.

Monday, Jan. 30

Colfax – Exercise Classes - Colfax Library has exercise programs for people of any age or ability. We can help you reach your fitness goals. Fit and Fun is a class for seniors to enjoy a low impact aerobic workout, available Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Boot Camp is available Mondays (ask about free Wednesday sessions) for those looking for high impact exercises yielding fast results including cardio, plyometrics and strength training. Just remember a water bottle and towel because you are going to sweat.

St. John – 1 to 3 p.m. – BINGO and Pie - Feeling lucky? Then come on down to the St. John Library for BINGO, pie and a chance to win a prize.

LaCrosse – 2:30 to 5 p.m. – Adult Coloring - Want to spend an evening relaxing while being creative? Then come on down to the Garfield Library and color the stress away.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

Colfax – Yoga - It is the last day of January. If your 2017 resolution was to be healthier and more fit and to enjoy life to the fullest, try new things, or manage your stress better, then check out Colfax Library’s Yoga programs. Every Tuesday join us for Restorative Yoga at noon and enjoy gentle movements, restorative poses, and guided meditation and Vinyasa Yoga at 5:30 p.m. to improve your strength, balance, and flexibility.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

Food for Fines - It’s Food for Fines time at the Whitman County Library so don’t forget your nonperishable food and toiletry items when you stop by the library. The 17th annual Food for Fines drive begins Wednesday, Feb. 1, and continues through Tuesday, Feb 28, at all 14 library branches.

Thursday, Feb. 2

Colfax, Tekoa – Storytime - Children and families, check out storytime at your local library, where children will hear stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, make crafts and stretch their imaginations. Attending storytime promotes early literacy and cultivates a lifelong love of reading for your children’s entire lives.
