Colfax – Bill of Rights Pop-Up Exhibit open for viewing at The Center. This informative exhibit is brought to the library by Humanities Washington.

Tekoa – 4 p.m. – Women’s Social Hour is a fun, free time to work on a project, share ideas or just sit down to visit.

Friday, Dec. 23

Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play and Learn. Fun free-form play for kids ages 0 to 5 and time for adults to relax.

Malden, Palouse and Uniontown – Storytime – All preschool children and their parents are welcome to join us for STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math) stories, songs, rhymes and crafts. Monday, Dec. 26

Colfax – 10 to 11 a.m. – Fit and Fun Exercise with Nancy. Enjoy a gentle warm-up, low impact aerobic workout and a soothing cool down. Tuesday, Dec. 27

Albion – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play and Learn, parents/caregivers bring your children for free play and socialization.

Farmington and Rosalia – Storytime – This fun and educational time is designed for children about 3-5-years-old (but everyone is welcome). Kids will be practicing the alphabet, singing and rhyming, movement and of course… stories. STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math) components are included with the goal of preparing kids to be lifelong, joyful learners.

Tekoa – 1:30 p.m. – “Herblock” Political Cartoonist Display. Come in and view the display that showcases education and democracy. A free copy of Herblock's biography is provided by the Herb Block Foundation.

Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – Join Molly for a great game of Bingo and a yummy slice of pie.

Palouse – 4 p.m. – Young readers are welcome to bring their own book or choose one from the library. For a full hour, they will have time for silent reading on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the library, but are encouraged to read at home so they are ready to share what they had read on Friday. There will be snacks provided on Friday.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Albion and Oakesdale – Crafts, singing, rhyming and movement are just part of the fun at Storytime.

Garfield – 1 p.m. – Families with children 5+ are welcome. Each family will compete as a team answering questions about Disney, Animals, Geography, Christmas & more.

St. John – 1 to 4 p.m. – Family-time, the library will provide supplies for a variety of crafts and coloring. Not in the mood for crafts so soon after Christmas? We'll also have a selection of board games and STEM activities available for all ages.

Thursday, Dec. 29

Colfax – 10:10 to 11:30 a.m. – Storytime, children ages 0 to 5 are welcome to enjoy engaging stories and imaginative activities that include songs, finger plays, crafts, puppets and more.

Tekoa – 1 p.m. – Preschool Storytime is designed for kids ages 3 to 5 and involves songs, crafts, fun and, of course, stories.

Palouse – 4 p.m. – Day two of Silent Reading Book Club. Young readers can come in and take advantage of the quiet, warm reading time.
