Endicott celebrates Christmas

Endicott

Trinity Lutheran Church hosted the annual Christmas play Dec. 3 with more than 30 children in the production about the birth of Christ. Music was provided by Kathy Schlomer. After the play, a potluck dinner was served in the Parish Hall.

Santa arrived in Endicott just after the crowd enjoyed lighting of the Christmas lights, Chinese lanterns and fireworks.

Santa, followed by the children, went to the Endicott Food Center to visit. Bags of goodies, cookies and cocoa were served by the Endicott Community Club members. The center was decorated with a large Christmas tree, poinsettias and a huge array of Christmas cookies.

Community club lights are on display in several places in Endicott, most along the main road from Colfax through Endicott and the large lot across the street from the food center.

Kathy Schlomer hosted her annual Christmas party Friday at her home. Guests came from Endicott, Winona and the Benge area.

Thanksgiving week brought family and friends to Pastor Fred and Cinda Tribble's home in Endicott. Their daughters, Rebekah Tribble and Sarah Suppe, son-in-law Zach and granddaughter Jubliee Suppe came from Texas and Oklahoma, respectively, after a visit in Tacoma with other family members. They joined in the fun Thanksgiving day as friends from Endicott and Moscow gathered for dinner.
