At the Parent Teacher Organization's first school carnival Saturday, Oct. 29, more than 100 people were served dinner of hot dogs and chili. They had a costume race in the school, because of rain, and the games were in the gym. They also collected food for the food drive.

For Halloween 65 or 70 children and parents attended Candy Land at the Community Bible Church. There was a lot of candy, games and comments. The streets were filled with goblins, ghosts, pumpkins, princesses, etc. Some of the parents were also dressed for the occasion.

This week, community club members are busy getting ready for the German dinner and silent auction which will be at the school, Sunday, Nov. 6.
