NWC tops Timberwolves

Northwest Christian last Thursday hammered the Tekoa/Rosalia teams in a north-south NE round at Colbert. The Crusader boys pegged a 71-27 win with a 38-12 lead at the half. Cooper Angelo again topped TR with 13 points, and Chase Neill hit four.

Tekoa/Rosalia girls stalked the Crusaders, now 8-4, in the first half and actually closed the gap in the third quarter to trail 27-31 going into the final frame before NWC pulled it out, 48-37.

Hannah Beach, Tommia Pakootas and Nikki Overton each hit eight points for the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves are slated to play at St. George's tonight.
