Bulldogs top NWC twice

Colfax baseball team took both sides of a doubleheader over Northwest Christian Friday at McDonald Park to open the season. Both games ended with a Colfax posting a 10-run margin.

The Bulldogs had strong pitching from Garrett Burke and Danny Robinson who each allowed two hits in taking the wins.

Colfax took the opener 12-2 with nine hits. Cal Gregory, a freshman, and Kenton Lyman each had two hits in the first game. Gregory finished with three RRIs.

The Bulldogs took the second game 10-2 with Robinson on the mound for the two hitter. Burke had two hits in the second game, and Lyman tagged a two-RBI triple for the top hit of the game.
