Next year: American Legion baseball leagues could see changes in format

Some changes could be in the works for the state’s Legion baseball competition for next year. The changes could work to revive the local Legion scene which sustained a setback with the decision this year to suspend the local area’s Senior Legion team, the Pullman Patriots.

The Patriots normally drew some of the top high school players from Pullman and other teams around the county.
