Colfax softball sweeps Chargers for No. 2 Northeast slot

Colfax softball team took out Springdale in two five-inning games Monday on the Chargers field to nail down the number-two slot in the NE league race. The Bulldogs are now 6-2 in league standings behind the undefeated Northwest Christian team.

Springdale, which had the number-two slot with a 3-1 record at the start of last week, is now 4-4 in the race. The Chargers also still have to face the NWC Crusaders in the league turn.

Colfax has two more league matches with a trip to Ritzville booked Friday and a final double against the Liberty Lancers Monday for senior day.
