Ride for the Cure totals 83 motorcycles

A total of 83 motorcycles hit the road from Colfax Sunday in this year’s Ride for the Cure. Five cars also participated in the ride which is a Relay for Life benefit. An estimated $2,000 was raised for the event.

Riders departed the Les Schwab parking lot on the Walla Walla Highway and followed a 100-mile route which went through Endicott, St. John, Rosalia and Tekoa before ending with a luncheon at Fredneck’s in Rockford.

Riders came from as far away as Newman Lake and Valley, Wash., to participate in the ride. Top prize in the drawings, a chainsaw donated by Pape, went to Joan Berdal of Colfax.
