Hospital Highlights

Thank you to Whitman Hospital’s Foundation!!

Whitman Hospital’s Foundation raised over $15,000 at their recent dinner and auction with an estimated 75 people in attendance. The foundation’s mission is to ensure the financial future for our hospital. It raises and invests money so the hospital can survive through any tough economic times that may come along.

The evening began with a silent auction followed by dinner and a live auction with Butch Booker as the auctioneer. Some of the highlights included a purse auction, lunch with Bill Moos at Banyans on the Ridge located at the WSU Golf Course, a Colfax Bulldog Quilt, and three overnight trips to Walla Walla, Coeur d’Alene, and a Bed & Breakfast in north Idaho. There was also a Coffee & Chocolate Basket donated by Whitman Hospital employees and a Murder Mystery Dinner at the Hooper Hotel.

A special thank you to those who organized the event:

Foundation Coordinator Kimberly DeHart, Dinner/Auction Committee members Linda Marler, Kathryn Vogler, Dawn Bennett, Shirley Walker, Chris Kackman, and Jennifer Claassen, as well as the many sponsors:
